2024 Bali Art Residency
November 2024 I was selected to participate in a month long residency program in Bali Indonesia. The assignment was to create something that simply told a story of Bali. I decided to create an hour long sound experience and this is where the SoundEscape brand was born
The piece
There are three parts to this hour long experience, although you won’t be able to tell in the seamlessness full length audio video.
Sound Escape in vr
Since this sound experience was minted as a digital collection, I created a couple of VR experiences using the audio. This was my first attempt before finalizing it with the Awe platform. Unfortunately, it disappeared and I am unable to recover it. You win some, you lose some!
The gallery opening
My audio was the sound landscape which held the gallery opening and told an audio story as the visual artist’s filled the space with their amazing pieces.
